I had done a few such tests like these in the past as part of a large project team. The results are fine for that moment for that particular situation, but does not apply in general and definitely not so much to make a significant impact on the hiring process... Tools can be a good facilitator... however, behavior assessment through a human touch is more important than just what a tool can predict

The wording on the Waste collection question doesn't make sense. The vehicle turns left two blocks AFTER 55th st. which makes sense to turn onto 53rd. But the wording "Then turns left AFTER three MORE blocks" would mean the vehicle would turn onto 47th ave. not 47A ave. the wording should be the same as before like "the vehicle turns left 2 blocks 49th ave."

If u fail, don’t get upset. If they have a test that is 70% based on your personality and personal reasoning then you can’t expect to study for that. They also don’t give you feedback on what u failed. Doesn’t sound like a good career goal to me if they can’t give feedback. Be happy you failed and see it as a sign.

I took the mechanical and electrical test today. I’m not bragging I’m just a very good test taker but I got offered a job on the spot for doing so well on it. This is probably the best video I’ve seen on it.

Took this test a year ago i did not even get thus part of the test not sure if its because I didnt get that far but that was last year retaking this week.

I failed it today when I applied for the first time and had no idea it was even a pass or fail thing. If they would’ve just TOLD ME that BEFORE I took it that would’ve been nice. It’s just so ridiculous and dumb.

This assessment is extremely flawed. What’s even the point of having such harsh penalties if even one section has a low score? I don’t think Walmart knows this (even though is incredibly obvious to anyone with a working brain) this assessment only encourages people to cheat and just look up the “correct “ responses . That’s it. I’m sure they have to have realized by NOW this assessment is only weeding out more people from applying to Walmart, not a specific kind of person like the assessment was probably intended to do in the first place. Typically corporate brain dead decision making

I have a question, if you wish to apply for a Clerk/Sales Associate position, does that mean you would be taking VEA exam 477, or would they just randomly give one to you even if it isn't for the specific position you're applying for? Would you have to study all 474-477?

I wish id seen this first. I just failed the test and don't even know my score. If I reapply with a different email do I have to wait a year? Will the AI figure it out?

I can't believe employers are making candidates take these stupid tests, especially if you haven't taken a test in a long time. Testing is more about familiarizing yourself with the format and practicing constantly. I got shit to do and don't have time to waste on these stupid aptitude tests.

Just took mine today. These should be training exercises that middle schoolers do to be honest. Very engaging

The expectation is different from reality. Before I apply for CCA heard a lot about poor management, overworked and underpaid. These are all true!!!
